Konflikt 47 Fireflies

This is my first attempt at painting the alternate history WW2 skirmish game Konflikt 47. I got this sprue free from the Wargames Illustrated magazine, there was a choice of the US Fireflies or the German Stahltruppen and as I have been recently going through my yearly watch of Band of Brothers I decided on the Fireflies!

I kept the paint scheme as close to a US uniform as possible and I really like the pop of colour of the flag and jet packs to make them stand out. For the bases I wanted to have a flooded fields look like the real fields of the Normandy countryside so I used Gamers Grass swamp and moss tufts with resin water to give that swampy flooded look.
